Open Question: Do I need a hearing aid?14 July 2010, 6:40 pmHowdy all,
I'm Leeanne Decker! I'm having some trouble with hearing! So, I'm having to ask people to repeat themselves constantly because I can't hear over the littlest of things! The t.v. (it won't even be turned up real loud), the phone if it's ringing, just any noise, i can't take what people are saying i just know that they are talking. sometimes it could be tottaly silent and i wont be able to hear them. my ears also stop hearing for about 10 seconds sometimes. well one will, then that one then it goes back to normal. then it happens to the other ear immidiety following. people tell me i'm talking loud but i think it's quiet. it really sounds pretty quiet to me! i cant tell what direction a noise is coming. and if im in a room and someone is shoutin my name and there door shut and my room only about three doors away from the room where the person is shouting my name i wont be able to hear it. i scheduled a hearing appointment and i wanna be prepared if i have to wear one, (imthirteen) so what do ya think?:)
