Tinnitus is a type of ringing in the ears that is common, especially in the elderly. Treatments in removing tinnitus are not very successful but tinnitus retraining is a therapy that may help deal with the condition. Studies show that the key difference between sufferers of tinnitus is not how loud the perceived sound is or the pitch.
