Open Question: Ear hook (hearing aid) headphones don't work in vehicles?

I have dual earhook headphones, which hook behind the ear so they can be worn with hearing aids. (They work on a T function.) But when I try and use them in vehicles (on buses, all cars) I get screeching interference. (High pitched, beeping, scratchy noise.) How could I stop this/why is this? Thankyou in advance! (:
