Open Question: Hearing aids now being issued to the people needing them?

and I am referring to the Digital,  I have persevered and I just cannot get used to them  the   analogue were far more adaptable and were far better than the ones now being issued.  I think NHS should have a rethink and stop these things as for myself I think they are very difficult as you have no power switch so that makes it terribly difficult to adjust to sound level. What is the general opinion of this aid, has anyone else found them difficult?

Open Question: what are the best type of hearing aids?

i am 17 and have to get hearing aids. i was told i have lost 65% to 75% of me hearing. i am woundering if to a cochler implant or any type of hearing aid that either loops around your ear and then has the jelly part or the ones that sit in your ear. what do you think might be the best

i am 17 and found out 2 days ago that i have to get hearing aids. upset and annoyed but i have being woundering since do you have to wear hearing aids in bed

i will have to wear them for the whole day i am awake because 65% to 75% of my hearing is gone

will they be annoying to wear at night

Open Question: How can you stop a hearing aid induction loop interfering with a computer screen?

I run the projector  at my local church and we've just bought a computer screen to sit at the front so the preacher can see what's on the screen. But when we plugged it in the speakers screeched and the screens image was severely distorted. I know the screen is OK because I've tried it at home. We think its the hearing loop that interferes with he screen. Do you have any tips on what we could do to sop this happening? Thanks

Open Question: To those who wears hearing aids, how do you get rid of acnes/zits that are on and in your ears?

I have been wearing my hearing aids for 13 to 15 hours and that's every day. I have noticed lately that ever since my tube was shorten, the acnes/zits started to appear later in the week. It's been like this for about three weeks at least. I tried washing them with the regular skin stuff (outside of the ears like where hearing aid's hook rest on) and it won't go away. I used my skin stuff that I got from my skin doctor for my face acnes/zits. Nothing.

So, what do you all do to get rid of them? It's been kind of hard to get my ear's skin back to normal and it's hurts when I wear the hearing aids when I have acnes/zits or bothers me. What do you guys do? I can't stop wearing the hearing aids because of school and I often need to hear what is going on around my house. So, that's not an option.

Help me please? If any please, I have PCOS acnes issues.

Open Question: What kind of programs are offered to people that can't afford hearing aid that are disabled?

I am disabled.  I need hearing aids.  I am unable to afford them.  I need help getting the hearing aids.  I also have Medicaid.  Medicaid no longer pays for hearing aids.  Can someone suggest any organization that I can call or find online to fill out an application to get assistance.
